Given FIFA's new rule changes, the winner of the meeting between Austria and Algeria will finish second in the group, regardless of their goal difference. A draw will leave Austria second.
When winning the match means facing Spain, it's hard to expect that Algeria will push for any kind of result here. The same is true for Austria who probably wouldn't mind a loss.
This is reflected in the odds with Interwetten paying 2.20 for the draw, 2.90 for Austria and 3.90 for Algeria.
With the odds for the draw lower than for either team to win (something I don't remember ever seeing before) the 0-0 result is a very interesting bet.
Interwetten has this market at 5.75 in odds, compared to 5.50 at Bet365, 5.00 on the Smarkets exchange and as low as 4.10 on GoGo Casino. I expect Interwetten will adjust its prices soon so I'm taking correct score 0-0 at 5.75.
